Public Camping

In order to soak up the full atmosphere of the show, you really need to stay on site, not least of all because, as a day visitor, you are expected to leave the show ground by 6pm. To take full advantage of the evening entertainment, the best place to be is based on site, people come from all over the world and can take advantage of the fact that they have everything on site here with them. Once you have your own spot, you don't have to worry about driving or queuing to get in.

The cost of public camping covers your entry fee too - it is a one-off payment. If you are bringing a military vehicle, are a stall holder or modeller, the cost of your campsite is included in your entry fee and there is no need to complete a separate camping form.  Please note that military vehicle entrants, stall holders and modellers are not allocated in public camping.
