Our book signer’s pavilion is growing each year and our first author signed up to  join us in 2015 is Susan Burnett, author of On That Day I Left My Boyhood Behind, the memoirs of her grandfather, Norman Woodcock, who was part of the Signals Corps during World War One.

Susan will be on hand to explain more about the book and her grandfather, but this is a fascinating first-hand account of life on multiple front lines during the 1914 - 18 war, with Norman seeing action during the Gallipoli campaign, as well as in Egypt, Libya, Mesopotamia, serving with Lawrence of Arabia, Palestine and the Somme at the end of the war.
