Travel to the Show could not be easier, with the Racecourse being just 5 minutes from J11 of the M20 and ample parking available for all. Alternatively Westenhanger train station (station code: WHA) is just a couple of minutes' walk from the Racecourse, with direct trains from London Charing Cross and Ashford International. The historic towns of Hythe, Folkestone, Dover, Ashford and Canterbury are all within very easy reach, as are the ports of Dover and Ramsgate, and with the Channel Tunnel terminus and Eurostar just ten-minutes away, access is very easy for visitors from the continent. Visitors to the War and Peace Revival can benefit from a special rate courtesy of our friends at DFDS Seaways.
Thanks to Southeastern rail company, The War and Peace Revival is delighted to announce that the High Speed train will be stopping at Westenhanger station on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July - especially for The War and Peace Revival! This one-off opportunity will give visitors a swift and easy ride from London and beyond direct to the show. The journey from London’s St Pancras to Westenhanger will be around 45-minutes during the weekend, making it even easier to visit the world’s largest military vehicle and vintage festival! It is also possible to connect with the 101 and 102 Wave services from Red Lion Square. These buses operate directly through to Dover and would be ideal for history buffs who would like to visit the castle or they will go to New Romney in the opposite direction. Some services as shown on the timetable then become a 100 and the same bus carries on through to Hastings

The best ticket to buy would be a one day Explorer or a Family Explorer. These would offer unlimited travel for the day on all services and are available from the driver. These are £6.30 for an Explorer and £10.50 for a family. There is also a special offer on at the moment where children can travel for 10p with an adult at weekends and this is detailed in the link below.
