Book Signings 2015

The Casemate UK Book Signers’ Pavilion

At War and Peace we’re proud to showcase authors and their featured works each year. In 2014 we were delighted to link with Casemate UK, a major specialist publisher and book distributor in the UK, European and Commonwealth markets.

It is not just authors and books published or distributed by Casemate that will feature in our pavilion. We welcome authors of any relevant book to promote themselves at War and Peace – so if you’ve written about any element of military or civilian history from the past century do get in touch; we’d love to hear from you!

So come along at War and Peace and meet the authors and get your book signed – even if you already own it!

As we receive confirmation of authors we will add them onto this page.

Our Casemate UK Book Signer’s Pavilion is growing each year and our first author signed up to join us in 2015 is Susan Burnett, author of On That Day I Left My Boyhood Behind, the memoirs of her grandfather, Norman Woodcock, who was part of the Signals Corps during World War One. Susan will be on hand to explain more about the book and her grandfather, but this is a fascinating first-hand account of life on multiple front lines during the 1914 - 18 war, with Norman seeing action during the Gallipoli campaign, as well as in Egypt, Libya, Mesopotamia, serving with Lawrence of Arabia, Palestine and the Somme at the end of the war.

Watch out for news next month about the book-signers' pavilion!
